Our free flowing, sandy to light brown crystals, have kept their natural sweet flavours and aroma of molasses. Sugarlean Low GI Sugar has a glycaemic index of less than 55, so it is absorbed and metabolised more slowly than conventional sugar - resulting in slower rise in blood sugar levels. 

Sugarlean Low GI Sugar is less processed and designed to retain many of the micronutrients and antioxidants lost during the standard milling process. Low GI sugar is suitable for most food and beverage applications. 

How is Sugarlean Low GI Sugar different to other low GI Sugars on the market?
